Two costumed guides storytelling at Mary Arden's Farm

Friday 6 November, The Shakespeare Centre, 1pm, 'Shakespeare and Biography': In celebration of the 300th anniversary of the first extended account of Shakespeare's life (by Nicholas Rowe), join the celebrated biographer Professor Hermione Lee who, in talking about the art of biography in general, will refer to Shakespeare as one of her points of reference.'

Lunchtime Lecture, Wednesday 18 November: David Crystal - Shakespeare's Sonnets and Original Pronunciation. In celebration of the 400th anniversary of the publication of Shakespeare's Sonnets, David Crystal explorers how they would have sounded in Shakespeare's time and how this adds to our understanding of them today.
