Do you think that Shakespeare's Kate and Petruchio from The Taming of the Shrew are in love with each other or is their relationship something more sinister?
My writing heavily influenced by Shakespeare
I read my first Shakespeare, (MacBeth), at the age of thirteen due to a school assignment in which we had to produce both an oral reading dramatized and written report at the end of the semester. I fell head over hills in love with Shakespeare and have never lost my interest or love of his work.
Last year I wrote an "Ode to Ophelia" as a challenge in an online poetry contest, and was amazed at how much he really influences my writing voice today, just as much as he did at thirteen.
