Price : 9.50 per pupil

Awarded the Sandford Award, Rich Man, Poor Man is aimed specifically at those studying the QCA History Unit 8a Tudor history and enables children to discover aspects of Tudor life for themselves from primary sources. They have the opportunity to: 

  • work with origional documents (inventories, church registers and a unique beggar's licence) 
  • write with quill pens
  • find out how people were affected by the plague
  • handle original Tudor coins found in Stratford-upon-Avon
  • examine original and reproduction artefacts
  • make beeswax seals 
  • take a Tudor walk through Stratford-upon-Avon and visit two Shakespeare Houses
