Celebrity chef visits Palmer’s Farm! PDF Print E-mail

This Morning logoPalmer’s Farm, Mary Arden’s, is to become the location for part of a mini-series looking at cooking through the ages for ITV’s daily show, ‘This Morning’, expected to be broadcast in October.

On Friday 7th September, celebrity chef Phil Vickery will learn to cook Tudor style with the help of the period interpreters at Palmer’s Farm. His duties will include helping Mrs Palmer prepare and cook Pottage, the main meal of the day, for the entire household and he will be invited to join them as a guest at their table for lunch. Phil will also assist one of the maids in getting to grips with butter making, cheese making, and ale making.

Mary Arden’s House, Drucker’s café and the gift shop will remain open (10am-5pm) whilst entry to Palmer’s Farm will be prohibited on Friday 7th September. Admission will be reduced to £2.50 for every visitor for one day only.
