The original edition of William Shakespeare's Comedies, Histories and Tragedies, published in 1623 probably consisted of a print-run of about 1,000 copies from which between 230 and 240 survive today, mostly in academic libraries around the world. Of these fewer than 20 are complete and undamaged copies. |
