Kenneth Branagh, Patron of Adopt a Treasure'I was very pleased to be invited by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust to become the first patron of Adopt a Treasure.  To have my name linked with the First Folio, as a guardian, gives me a special pleasure.  I do hope that you will join me and others, in adopting these marvellous treasures, and safeguarding their future'.

Adopt a Treasure is a rare opportunity for you to adopt one of the treasures in the renowned Shakespeare Collections at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Through Adopt a Treasure, the Trust is inviting you to experience for yourself the very special pleasure of being guardian to a Shakespeare treasure of your own choosing, and to share with the Trust a continuing committment to the future of the Collections.

By choosing a treasure to adopt, you can help preserve our Shakespearean heritage and make a vital and lasting contribution to Shakespeare's continuing legacy.

Over many generations, the Trust has cared for an outstanding collection of Shakespeare treasures: unique and wondeful paintings, books, furniture, manuscripts and theatre memorabilia.  Together and singly they add to the richness of our knowledge of the life and times of the world's greatest dramatist.
