A large proportion of the Local Collection's archive holdings comprise the records of some of Warwickshire's leading landed families. These include material relating not only to their Warwickshire estates but to estates in other parts of the country too. The largest single collection comprises the records of the Stratford-upon-Avon Corporation and of the organisations whose function it took over.
