The Shakespeare Centre Library is formed from the collections of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. These Libraries were founded in the last half of the nineteenth century and were amalgamated in 1964. Every year thousands of more items are added to our existing collections.
