The Shakespeare Centre Library and Archive holds Photographic Collections of the productions at the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre and by the Royal Shakespeare Company. We offer an in-house photographic service for reproducing of production images for private use, research and publication. Some of the photographic and artistic material in our collections is not our copyright. Only material which is out of copyright or for which the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust controls copyright may be photographed. Black and white prints can be supplied up to 16" x 12". Transparencies and colour prints can also be supplied but take longer to process. Scanned images are also available. Payment must be made in advance for any photographic order. Publication and Copyright:You are reminded that copies are supplied for private study or use and that publication or further reproduction in any form requires permission from the Head of Library and Information Resources. A reproduction fee will be charged in addition to the copying cost. Surcharges The Shakespeare Centre Library will charge a £30 research fee for any commercial work carried out by its staff which takes over 30 minutes, including the identification of materials (photographs, documents, books, etc.) for copying. For non-commercial research a £15 fee applies under the same conditions.
