| Where did you live for most of your life? |
 | Until my marriage in 1582 I lived with my parents in Henley Street in Stratford-upon-Avon. In 1597 I bought New Place for my family. I was working in the theatre in London, from around 1592 until I retired in 1611, but I visited them whenever I could. |
