Hall’s Croft
“House Detective”
Learn about the different people who have lived in Hall’s Croft over the last 400 years. Find out how a Jacobean house was constructed and have a go at designing your own building.

- 'Tudor Troubles': law-breaking in the sixteenth century
- 'Plough the Fields and Scatter': farming week

- 'Fun and Foolery': Tudor games and activities

A Midsummer’s Magical Picnic, Saturday 8 August: join fairies, sprites and hobgoblins as they gather at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, for a midsummer magical picnic. Discover the secrets of the enchanted woodland and enjoy our magical entertainment. All children dressed up will gain free entry to the House and gardens, so bring along your favourite picnic treats for your fairies and sprites to enjoy. Normal House admission applies. ![]()
