Assistant Chef, Hall’s Croft


The Trust is looking for a full-time Assistant Chef to join the Hall’s Croft Cafe Team to prepare food and drinks to the required service standards, paying attention to portion control, quality and presentation. You will also get the opportunity to be involved in the creation and costing of new food items, have involvement in the menu design for special events, and be a vital part of the Chef Team preparing high quality food for those special events.

To be successful in this role you should have experience of working in a commercial kitchen, have strong food knowledge, be aware of food hygiene and kitchen standards. You should have a genuine interest and passion for food, and be able to work as part of a small team and also independently. You should have strong interpersonal skills and be able to manage situations as they arise to make sure our customers are not impacted.
